These Cricut Valentine’s Day tic tac toe bags are the cutest idea and they are so easy! I made these for a surprise for my kids on Valentine’s Day. You could also make them as classroom Valentines or for neighbor kids and friends!

Easy Cricut Project tic tac toe bags

Valentine’s Day is a fun time to do things for those we love. Whether you make printable coupons to show your kids love or you make them Valentine’s Day treat poppers, this tic tac toe game makes a fun addition to the festivities and serves as a fun travel game to use in restaurants or on the go.

Tic Tac Toe Bags

These Cricut tic tac toe bags are a quick and easy Cricut Project using your Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker. You’ll also need the Cricut EasyPress 2 or a home iron. Here are the supplies you’ll need for this Cricut Valentine’s Day project:

  • Free Valentine’s Day Tic Tac Toe SVG: Design Space Link
  • cotton bags (found in Target dollar spot)
  • plastic heart gems (found at Dollar Tree)
  • Cricut permanent vinyl (I used gold – for X’s and O’s)
  • Cricut Iron-On Vinyl (I used pink)
  • Cricut Tweezers (to place X’s and O’s on hearts)

Be sure to grab the free Valentine’s Day tic tac toe bags SVG to make your project in Design Space. It is sized to fit the cotton bags from Target’s dollar spot so if you get different bags make sure you check the measurements and size it accordingly.

Cricut Explore Air 2 projects

Once you load the project in Design Space, cut out the tic tac toe board and heart using Cricut Iron On Vinyl and cut out the X’s and O’s using permanent vinyl. Before cutting you can also add your child’s name to the heart by doing the following in Design Space:

  1. Add text (child’s name)
  2. Center it over the heart
  3. Select heart and text and click “slice”
  4. Delete the words so a cutout of the name is left on the heart

Be sure to adjust the dial on your Cricut Explore Air 2 for the type of vinyl you are cutting.

Weed the vinyl and prepare the EasyPress 2 for ironing. Use the Cricut Heat Guide to determine the correct heat and time settings for the materials you are using. Apply the tic tac toe board to the bag and press.

    These are cute!
I don’t have a cricut, but it seems like people can do some wonderful crafts with them.

Thanks for sharing this at the Homestead Blog Hop
