As a mom I know we’ve all been there. It was embarrassing and required a phone call to my husband to come get him so I could safely finish shopping with my sanity intact.

 

 

So back in the cart they go because you can’t have them running wild in Walmart. Now you’re passing that stuffed animal display and before you know it you’ve got a kiddo grabbing off the shelves and adding to the cart.

 

 

This gorilla is too big though and he doesn’t get it past me so he’s less than thrilled when I say he can’t come home with us. We are nearing meltdown status when…

 

 

He has to go potty. For the fifth time. How can one toddler pee so often? I’m really not sure, but I think my ice cream has thawed by now.

 

 

Now he’s begging to stroll down the toy aisle and with a warning from me that he isn’t getting a toy, he takes off straight for the giant ball display. We all know how this one ends.

 

 

By this time we really need to finish grocery shopping before the inevitable meltdown happens. We are nearing lunch time and that is never good. A hungry toddler is a hangry meltdown waiting to happen.

 

 

And then it happens, the meltdown. The all-out meltdown.
