I love making special DIY baby shower gifts like this elephant birth announcement. I also love giving unconventional baby gifts! Today I am going to show you a little trick to put together a very special baby gift in a jar! It’s super adorable and useful too.

 

DIY Baby Gift In A Jar

This DIY baby gift is super easy! Here are the supplies you’ll need:

  • 1 gallon cracker jar
  • Baby Magic bedtime bath or lotion (print the coupon below)
  • muslin baby blanket (I prefer aden + anais)
  • small toys (I bought this set of rattles so I always have little rattles on hand)
  • noise machine (optional)
  • ribbon (optional)
  • paper shredded stuffing (optional – for bottom of jar)

How To Assemble Gift In A Jar

Start by gathering your favorite baby supplies. I love the smell of Baby Magic. It reminds me of when my babies were little! I like that Baby Magic has no parabens, phthalates, sulfates & dyes. It is also dermatologist recommended for baby’s delicate skin. Baby Magic has been loved by protective parents for over 65 years. Baby Magic nourishes baby’s skin with wholesome ingredients.

I also included my favorite muslin baby blankets, a rattle, a sound machine and little owl decor for the nursery. Pick your own favorite additions to the gift and you can even buy small items off the baby shower registry!

Then, fill the bottom of the jar with shredded paper stuffing and roll a muslin blanket and place it at the back of the jar. Place a bottle of Baby Magic in the center. The 16.5 oz bottle fits in the center of the jar with the lid on! Then place the other small items in the jar and add the lid.

You can also add a ribbon around the jar if you want to dress it up a little more but it looks adorable as-is too! I love that the jar can then be used in the nursery for all sorts of things! Store items inside it or make homemade wipes and store them in the jar, the possibilities are endless!
