L is for lemons in this fun letter L craft! As you do this craft be sure to talk about the letter L, what sound it makes and what words start with the letter L. Don’t forget to talk about lemons too! In this weekly letter activities series, I hope you find fun and easy ideas to help your preschooler (or kindergartener) with letter recognition. These activities are designed to help reinforce each letter with a fun craft that your child can do on their own (with a little help from an adult).

 

 

LETTER CRAFT SUPPLIES:

You’ll need a few basic arts and crafts supplies for this activity!

• Craft Foam (like this)
• Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
• Scissors
• Black Marker
• Paper or Cardstock

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter L template and print onto paper or cardstock.

 

 

2.) Cut out the letter L and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

 

 

 

3.) Download and print the lemon template. Cut out.

 

4.) Trace the lemon template onto craft foam. Cut out.

 

 

 

5.) Outline the lemon and leaves with black marker and add detail.

 

 

 

6.) Cut a white slice of craft foam and glue onto the lemon.

 

7.) Glue the leaves onto the back of the lemon.

 

 

 

8.) Glue the lemon onto the letter L.
