Letter X Craft

Letter X is for Xray in this fun kids letter craft activity. As you are doing the letter craft be sure to talk all about the letter X, what sound it makes, what words start with the letter X and talk about an X-Ray. What is it? Why would you need one? What does it do? Have fun learning about the letter X!

In this weekly letter activities series, I hope you find fun and easy ideas to help your preschooler (or kindergartener) with letter recognition. These activities are designed to help reinforce each letter with a fun craft that your child can do on their own (with a little help from an adult).

• Craft Foam (like this)
• Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
• Scissors
• Black Marker
• Paper or Cardstock
• Google Eyes

Letter X Craft Directions

 

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter X template and print onto paper or cardstock.

2.) Cut out the letter X and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

3.) Download and print the x-ray template. Cut out.

 

4.) Glue the two squares together. Glue the ribs on top of the smaller square. Glue the heart onto the ribs. Glue the head onto the hair. Glue the head onto the squares. Glue on googly eyes.

5.) Use a black marker to add a hairline, nose and mouth.

 

 

6.) Glue the x-ray to the letter X
