Y is for yarn and we are learning all about the letter Y! As you do this craft be sure to talk about the letter Y, what sound it makes, what words start with Y and talk about yarn! What does yarn feel like? What is yarn used for? Have fun learning all about the letter Y!

• Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
• Scissors
• Black Marker
• Paper or Cardstock

Letter Y Craft Directions

 

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter Y template and print onto paper or cardstock.

2.) Cut out the letter Y and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

3.) Download and print the yarn template. Cut out.

4.) Draw the yarn pattern onto the circle. Refer to the photo.

5.) Glue the yarn string onto the back of the circle.

 

6.) Glue the yarn to the letter Y.
