Z is for Zebra in this fun letter Z craft! As you do this craft be sure to talk about the letter Z! What sound does it make? What words start with the letter Z? What is a zebra? Where does it live? Have fun learning all about the letter Z!

In this weekly letter activities series, I hope you find fun and easy ideas to help your preschooler (or kindergartener) with letter recognition. These activities are designed to help reinforce each letter with a fun craft that your child can do on their own (with a little help from an adult).

  • Craft Foam (like this)
  • Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
  • Scissors
  • Black Marker
  • Paper or Cardstock
  • Googly Eyes

Z is for Zebra Letter Craft Directions

Making an alphabet craft is easy! Just follow these directions with your kiddos to make a fun letter craft and learn about the letter Z!

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter Z template and print onto paper or cardstock.

2.) Cut out the letter Z and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

3.) Download and print the zebra template. Cut out.

4.) Use a black marker to add detail (stripes) to the zebra

5.) Glue the google eye to the zebra’s head.

6.) Glue the zebra onto the letter Z.
