No Bake Energy Bites

The most surefire way to ensure that you eat healthier is to make sure you have healthy options on hand. These no bake energy bites are the perfect little snack to pop in your mouth or they make a great grab and go breakfast idea! I LOVE having them in the fridge and I love how little time they take to make even more. They are whipped up in minutes and you can make a double or triple batch so they last all week. My philosophy is to make something once on Sunday night and have it on hand for the whole week. Work smarter, not harder right? You might also want to make my DIY instant oatmeal packets or my mini egg omelets that can be made ahead and frozen for later!

To make these peanut butter no bake energy bites you’ll need just FOUR ingredients! I love simple recipes and I always have these ingredients on hand too so no matter when I’m craving a snack, I can whip these up.

  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup agave or honey
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a large bowl mix together all of the ingredients. Cover and chill for 30 minutes in the fridge. Once chilled, grab a heaping tablespoon of the mixture (I used a cookie scoop) and form into a ball with your hands. Form the rest of the mixture into balls and place in a container. Store in the fridge inside a sealed container. I typically make a double or triple batch for our family of six. They will last a week in the fridge. They can be at room temperature but will not hold their shape.

  1. Can you tell me about how many calories per energy bite? I love these and want to make sure I am not going overboard on calories!

    1. Haha it is easy to just keep eating them! I don’t have a calorie count but you can google nutrition calculator and figure out the calories per serving. I’m glad you love them! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

    1. No, I do not calculate the nutritional info for my recipes as I don’t personally focus on fat/calorie content and instead focus on eating clean, nutritious foods that nourish the body. If you would like to figure out the nutrition info though you can go here and enter the ingredients and it will help calculate the values for you: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/calculator
