Letter H Craft

In this weekly letter activities series, I hope you find fun and easy ideas to help your preschooler (or kindergartener) with letter recognition. These activities are designed to help reinforce each letter with a fun craft that your child can do on their own (with a little help from an adult).

H is for Hamster in this adorable letter H craft! Kids will love making this adorable little critter while learning about the letter H.

 

 

You’ll need a few basic arts and crafts supplies to make these alphabet crafts!

 

LETTER CRAFT SUPPLIES:

• Craft Foam (like this)
• Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
• Scissors
• Black Marker
• Paper or Cardstock
• Googley eyes

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter H template and print onto paper or cardstock. To receive the free templates simply enter your email below and we will send them straight to your inbox!

 

 

2.) Cut out the letter H and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

 

 

3.) Download and print the HAMSTER template. Cut out.

 

4.) Trace the hamster template onto craft foam. Cut out.

5.) Outline the white body of the hamster with black marker and add a smile to it’s face.

 

 

6.) Glue the pieces of the hamster together. Refer to the photo.

 

 

7.) Glue on googly eyes.

 

 

8.) Glue the hamster to the letter H.

 

 

9.) Glue the feet onto the hamster.
