D is for Desert Letter Craft {Free Printables}

Letter D Craft

Today we learn all about the letter D! D is for desert. Use this craft as an opportunity to talk about the letter d, the sound it makes, what words start with the letter d and talk about the desert!

 

 

You’ll need a few basic supplies for this craft!

LETTER CRAFT SUPPLIES:

Craft Foam (like this)

Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)

Scissors

Black Marker

Paper or Cardstock

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter D template (enter your email in the form below and we will send you the templates FREE) and print onto paper or cardstock.

 

 

2.) Cut out the letter D and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.

 

 

3.) Download and print the DESERT template (enter email below so we can send it to you, you only need to do this once for all letter crafts). Cut out.

4.) Trace the desert template onto craft foam. Cut out.

 

 

5.) Cut “sand” and a sun from craft foam.

 

 

6.) Glue the “sand” to the bottom of your letter D. Cut off any excess.

 

 

7.) Glue the cactuses, cactus flowers and sun onto the letter D.

 

 

8.) Use a black marker to outline your cactuses and add detail to them.

 

 

9.) Use a black marker to add spikes to your cactuses.
