Easter Crafts For Kids | Carrot Treat Bags Paper Craft
One of our favorite Easter crafts for kids are these paper carrot treat bags! Fill them with treats and use them as cute Easter table decor for your Easter tablescape or make them up to hand out to the kids on Easter. Grab the free printable template at the end of this post too!

We love to do fun Easter crafts for kids here! Once springtime hits we start making fun Easter crafts to decorate the house and prepare for our holiday gathering. Using colorful craft paper, these Easter carrot treat bags are a bright and cheery springtime craft. We even have a free printable Easter crafts template for this so it is super easy to DIY your own! Colored Craft Papers – orange, green and 2 or 3 more colors
Pencil – to trace the template
Easter Carrot Treat Bags Instructions
Easter Paper Craft Treat Bags Step 1
Print and cut out the large square pattern from the template (get the free template here).
Easter Paper Craft Treat Bags Step 2
Fold the square paper along the 2 dash lines and unfold again. Now the paper is divided into 3 parts, 2 equal parts, and 1 thin part.
Apply glue along the thin part.

Fold up the other side of the paper and join it with the thin part. Also, glue any one of the open ends.
Now we have 1 open end. Place the treats inside the package through the open end.

Take a 3 inches long and 1-inch wide green craft paper and fold it in half. Cut small fringe on the open ends of the paper.

Place about a cm of the fringed green paper’s intact side inside the orange package and secure the open end using glue.

Choose some colored craft papers to trace and cut the 4 round labels from the template.

Glue each labels one on the top of the other (gluing the smaller ones on the bigger ones). Write something on the label if desired and glue it with the carrot box. You could write the child’s name and use these as place cards at their kid’s Easter tablescape or add them to Easter baskets.
And done! These Easter carrot treat boxes are easy enough for small hands to help with but still fun for kids of all ages. They would look adorable as placeholders for our Easter dinner and kids will be so excited to open them and discover what’s inside!

- Choose some colored craft papers to trace and cut the 4 round labels from the template.
- Glue each labels one on the top of the other (gluing the smaller ones on the bigger ones). Write something on the label if desired and glue it with the carrot box. I suggest writing the child's name if using as a place card or an Easter message if you want something more generic.
