DIY Hidden Home Office
Are you in need of a home office, but don’t have a room to devote to it? If you need a space of your own in a limited space environment, then check out this awesome DIY Hidden Home Office I created using my lift top coffee table and a little touch of genius!
Has your dining room table turned into an impromptu home office, cluttered with papers and a mess? Has your kitchen counter turned into your command center? Don’t let the clutter take over! Take back control and tame the mess. I took a Sauder lift top coffee table in my living room and transformed it into my own hidden home office. It can easily be tucked away and serve as a coffee table or can be opened up to reveal my office.
With the handy lift top table lifted up, it reveals hidden storage that is perfect for your stapler, tape dispenser, calendar and computer. When you are done working just tuck it all away under the table top, out of sight.
When you need to work just lift the coffee table top up to the perfect height for working on your computer! You can sit at the couch and work at table-height.
Tuck all of your other office essentials like pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, erasers, etc, into a pretty basket that can easily be removed when you need to use them.
When you are done just slide the baskets into the cubbies underneath the coffee table for hidden storage of your office essentials!
The coffee table top can be moved back down and it looks just like a regular coffee table again! No one would ever know it was really your home office. Organize your other paperwork in the baskets underneath so it’s neatly hidden away.
I recently redecorated my living room and I love how easily the coffee table is able to transition from one look to the next. By decorating with bold accent pieces and sticking with staple furniture pieces, it’s easy and inexpensive to transform the look of your room!
You can find the Sauder lift top coffee table on Amazon! It’s inexpensive and it has held up great under our daily use of it. I found the baskets for organizing the office cubbies at Target! I love how versatile the coffee table has been for all of the different ways we have used it!
