Tuscan Herb Dipping Oil Recipe. SO amazing! Pair with bread for dipping and it tastes like the herb oil you get at fancy restaurants. Easy entertaining idea or hostess gift!

blog all

This Tuscan Herb Dipping Oil is the perfect way to wow your guests! It is really easy to make, but it looks fancy and tastes amazing. It’s similar to the dipping oil found in fancy Italian restaurants. Not only is this the perfect way to wow your holiday guests, but it would also make a great hostess gift if you are headed to a holiday party.

First you’ll need to select a quality olive oil. This OMAGGIO Limited Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the one I recommend. It is available for a limited time at Sam’s Club for the amazing price of $8.98 for a 25.5 FL OZ bottle. I’m going to be stocking up on them because we use a ton of olive oil! The gold lettered bottle also doubles as a perfect hostess gift! It’s beautiful.

More importantly, when purchasing OMAGGIO Limited Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you can be assured of the quality because it is authenticated by an independent certified laboratory. If you aren’t familiar with olive oil, there is a big problem with the authenticity of many olive oils. Many oils are not authentic olive oil so buying a brand that offers independent certification of their authenticity is very important.

To create the Tuscan Herb Dipping Oil you’ll need fresh herbs including rosemary, basil, parsley and oregano. You’ll also need garlic, coarse salt, fresh ground pepper and crushed red pepper.

In a small bowl finely mince the garlic, chop the herbs and combine remaining ingredients except the olive oil. I love these herb scissors for quickly chopping up herbs. They are awesome!

To serve, spoon 1 teaspoon of the herb mixture into a shallow bowl.

Then pour OMAGGIO Limited Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil over it. The OMAGGIO Limited Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a fresh aroma with a great balance of vibrant olive flavor and a moderate peppery finish.

We serve dipping oils with our homemade bread and some red wine- it’s a great way for the adults to unwind with some civilized conversation and food. We’ll have to check this oil out as a base for our next gathering!

This sounds sort of like the dip I love with the cheese in it! I would add some parmesan for my family, and then we would be hooked for life! Love a quality oil!

I have been trying to get my autistic son more involved in cooking, so I look for simple, yummy recipes that he can follow on his own. Since he LOVES dipping bread when we go out, I’m pretty sure he’ll be happy to whip up this spice blend, slice the bread, and pour the oil! Thanks for posting!
