Pillsbury Crescent Roll Recipe
I love that holidays always give me an excuse to try new recipes. With Easter just around the corner, I came up with this mouth-watering Pillsbury™ crescent roll recipe that explodes in a berry-trifecta with each bite! It’s the perfect crescent roll breakfast recipe or brunch idea.
For this triple berry cream cheese crescent roll ring you’ll need:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated lemon zest
- Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Original Crescent Rolls 8 ct 8.0 oz Can (find them near the dairy case at Walmart)
- 3/4 cup fresh berries – I used blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
- poppy seeds
Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. In a small mixing bowl combine softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. Beat on low speed until well mixed.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Unroll the Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Original Crescent Rolls into one sheet. Do not separate along serrated edges! Press the edges together to form one rectangle of dough. Spread cream cheese mixture over the dough, leaving 1/2″ border around edges. Top with fresh berries.
Roll up the dough lengthwise. Press the ends together to seal and make sure any other openings are pinched together to seal.
Use a serrated knife to cut into 8 slices.
Arrange pieces in a circle, slightly touching each other.
Sprinkle poppy seeds over the top of the crescent roll breakfast ring.
Bake the crescent roll breakfast ring for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Be careful not to over-bake or all the filling will ooze out. I then added some fresh berries to the top to make a pretty presentation for our Easter brunch!
This is best served warm or at room temperature. Enjoy the delicious triple berry flavors combined with silky smooth cream cheese in between layers of flaky crescent rolls. I guarantee this recipe will be a big hit and this won’t be the last time you make it! It’s so quick and easy to make that it quickly becomes a go-to crescent roll breakfast recipe. Change it up by swapping out the berries for different flavors.

This recipe looks so yummy. My family would enjoy this.
So I currently don’t have all of those fresh fruits but I have them frozen. Would frozen fruit still work well?
Oh my hat, so tempting and mouth-watering. Pinned it.
