B is for Buttons Letter Craft {Free Printables}

In this weekly letter activities series, I hope you find fun and easy ideas to help your preschooler (or kindergartener) with letter recognition. These activities are designed to help reinforce each letter with a fun craft that your child can do on their own (with a little help from an adult).
B is for Buttons Letter Craft
This fun alphabet craft talks all about the letter b! Make your own buttons using craft foam and talk about the sound the letter b makes.
Letter Craft Supplies:
Craft Foam (like this)
Glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
Scissors
Black Marker
Paper or Cardstock

1.) After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter B template and print onto paper or cardstock. Cut it out and this will serve as your stencil.
Get the template by entering your email below so we can send it to you for you to download and print.
2.) Use the letter “B” stencil you created to trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.
3.) Cut circles from colored craft foam in various sizes. You’ll want to make sure to cut two of each colored circle. Cut the inside of one of the circles out of the circle. Glue hollow circle on top of circle in matching color. Repeat step a few times. Refer to photo.
4.) Cut rounded squares out of colored craft foam. Add button holes to the buttons with black marker.
5.) Glue the finished buttons onto the letter “B”.
