The other day I had some brown bananas and sour cream that was going to expire in a day so I just had to make banana bread. Whenever I make banana bread it is devoured here in a day. I use my Mother-in-law’s recipe which is so yummy! This time I made 2 loaves so my husband could take one to work too. He said it was literally GONE in less than 10 minutes. Several guys he works with said it’s the best banana bread they’ve ever tasted. So there you have it, it’s not just my word for it!
You will mix together butter, sugar and eggs. Then add bananas and sour cream along with the dry ingredients.
You need to line a large loaf pan with wax paper. At first I thought this would be unnecessary and I’d just use cooking spray however in order to keep the topping on it you will need to be able to lift the loaf out of the pan rather than turning the pan upside down to release it. So the wax paper is a must.
Pour your batter in right on top of the wax paper.
You will be rewarded with this super yummy loaf of banana bread! Just look at that perfect topping.
