Paella On The Grill Recipe
I absolutely love grilling in the Summer and I’m a little sad that Summer will soon come to an end. That doesn’t mean we will be putting our grill away though! We continue to grill well into the Fall. After a Summer of grilling a lot it can be easy to fall into a rut making the same boring burgers and brats every night. This year I’ve been mixing it up and getting adventurous in my grill cooking. Last night we cooked Paella on the grill and boy was it delicious! My husband said it tasted like a quality restaurant meal. Who knew you could cook all of this in one dish on the grill? It was SO easy too. Give it a try tonight!
To cook my Paella I used a Reynolds Bakeware pan and Reynolds Wrap nonstick heavy duty foil (although regular foil would have worked too!). I love the new Reynolds Bakeware pans because they are non-stick with no spray needed which is perfect when cooking on the grill. That means clean up is a breeze too! Since this meal is all cooked in one pan, your only dish will be the one you can toss at the end!
First add one package Lipton Sides Spanish Rice mix to your pan OR use 1 1/2 cups uncooked spanish rice mix of your choosing. We tasted a couple different varieties and decided the Lipton tasted best.
Next add in all the rest of your ingredients! Pour in chicken broth, add tomatoes, shrimp, chicken thighs, fire roasted red peppers, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt, pepper and anything else you’d like to add in! This dish is a one pan wonder and leaves room for adding in your favorites. You might try adding Chorizo or even green olives. It’s up to you!
Then cover with foil and grill over medium high heat for 30 minutes.
Take a peak after 30 minutes and ensure the juices run clear on your chicken. Ours was steaming hot and everything was cooked and ready to eat!
This Paella was so delicious! You got the nice layer of rice cooked well on the bottom paired with the chicken and shrimp and the flavor of the fire roasted red pepper coming through. If you like spicy I would add crushed red pepper flakes to it before cooking too. This was a fabulous and EASY weeknight meal that we enjoyed while sitting outside. I love being able to enjoy what’s left of Summer and take in the outdoors while I am making dinner. You can’t beat that! I loved that it was a one pan meal and after dinner I just tossed the pan in the garbage and since we also used paper plates all I had to wash was the utensils. Perfect!
Reynolds wants to inspire you to grill something amazing. Forget the boring burgers and grill something new and exciting! You can pin my Paella recipe now so you can easily find it later or print it off below!

I could go for some of that for dinner tonight. I like how it can be prepared in the grill, and is in one container. Very convenient.
