LEGOLAND Florida’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience Is Here, and It’s Included With Admission

If your kids have been begging to do something soccer-themed this summer, or if you’re just looking for a new reason to head to LEGOLAND Florida Resort, I think you’re going to love what just opened. We visited LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Haven this week to check out the brand new FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience, and I’m going to walk you through everything we saw, what your kids will love most, and what to expect if you’re planning a trip before it wraps up on July 19.

This is a limited-time activation, it’s included with your regular park admission, and it brings together two things that are huge with kids right now: LEGO building and soccer. My family had a great time, the new food offerings were a nice surprise, and the whole park felt clean, well organized, and easy to navigate.

Here’s everything you need to know before you go.

What Is the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience at LEGOLAND Florida?

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience is a new, limited-time activity at LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, running from June 11 through July 19. It’s a soccer-themed addition built entirely out of LEGO bricks and interactive games, and it gives kids a chance to step into the shoes of their favorite players, taking shots on goal, building their own jersey, and running through drills just like the pros do.

The activation is spread throughout the resort and includes hands-on activities for kids of pretty much every age, from toddlers who just want to kick a ball around to older kids who are ready to take on a real challenge.

The Kickoff Interactive Experience

This is the centerpiece of the FIFA World Cup experience, and it’s where you’ll want to head first. The Kickoff is an interactive zone where kids can run, kick, and play in a soccer-themed setting built around LEGO design. It’s high energy, it’s colorful, and it is the perfect blend of LEGO and FIFA.

LEGO World Cup Trophy Photo Opportunity

There’s a LEGO model of the World Cup trophy on display along with some of FIFA’s favorite players, and it’s a fantastic photo stop. My kids thought it was one of the coolest builds we saw all day, and Master Model Builder Ryan Wood and his team clearly put a lot of detail into it.

Training Academy

The Training Academy is a hands-on soccer skills area where kids can practice dribbling, passing, and other basic moves in a low-pressure, playful setting. It’s a great spot for younger kids who want to feel like real players without the pressure of an actual game.

Soccer Shirt Builder

This one was a hit with my older kids. The Soccer Shirt Builder lets kids design their own custom soccer jersey using LEGO pieces, mixing colors and patterns to make something completely their own. It’s creative, it’s quick, and it ties the building side of LEGOLAND into the soccer theme really well.

Penalty Shootout Challenge

If your kids are competitive (and let’s be honest, most of them are), the Penalty Shootout Challenge is where they’ll want to spend their time. Kids take their best shot on goal in a fun, arcade-style setup, and there’s a real sense of accomplishment when they score.

New Summer Food and Drink Offerings You Have to Try

One of the biggest surprises of our visit was the food. LEGOLAND rolled out limited-time summer menu items alongside the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience, and they were genuinely good, not just theme-park good.

We tried the Frozen Green Apple Refresher with green apple boba, one of the new drinks. It was the perfect option for a hot Florida afternoon. If you’re visiting during the summer heat, plan to grab one of these between rides, your kids (and you) will thank you. For lunch options, there are the new Messy Fries along with the BBQ Dog at Dragon’s Den. They were great for a quick and tasty lunch to keep us fueled for the rest of the day.

Chef Veronica Martinez Cruz and the food and beverage team clearly put thought into making these limited-time items feel special without being overpriced or overcomplicated, which is exactly what you want when you’re managing a family on a budget.

Why This Is a Great Summer Activity for Florida Families

If you live in Florida, you already know summer means finding things to do that get the kids out of the house without melting everyone in the process. LEGOLAND Florida does a good job balancing indoor and outdoor activities, and with the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience added in, there’s now even more variety packed into one visit.

For families coming from elsewhere in Central Florida, like Orlando, Tampa, or Lakeland, LEGOLAND in Winter Haven is an easy drive and a nice change of pace from the bigger, more crowded parks. And because the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience is included with your regular admission, you’re not paying extra for any of it, which is always a win in my book.

Good for Every Age

One thing I always look for at any family destination is whether it actually works for a wide age range, and LEGOLAND nailed it here. My young boys were happy just running around the Kickoff area and loved the Penalty Shootout and Shirt Builder, and even my teenager admitted the trophy photo op was “actually pretty cool.”

A Clean, Well-Run Park

I know this seems like a small thing, but it matters. The park was clean, the restrooms were well-stocked, and everything felt well-maintained from the moment we walked in. When you’re managing young kids, those details make a big difference in how stressful (or not) your day feels.

Planning Your Visit to LEGOLAND Florida’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience

A few practical tips if you’re planning a trip to Winter Haven, Florida to check this out before it ends on July 19:

  • Arrive early. Like most things in Florida summer, mornings are cooler and less crowded. Getting to the Kickoff area early gives your kids more room to run.
  • Pack sunscreen and water bottles. Many of the activities are outdoors, and Florida sun does not play around in June and July.
  • Save room for the new food. Don’t fill up before you get to try the limited-time summer menu, especially the boba drink.
