Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford Review: 4 Week Follow Up

Over the past 4 weeks I have been participating in the Meaningful Beauty test drive campaign through Mom Central Consulting. Basically what that means is that they sent me this kit containing the Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford products in order for me to test them and share my thoughts after 4 weeks of continuous use of the products. I also received an additional kit to give away which I gave to my Mom. Each 5 step kit contained:

I will start with my Mom’s thoughts on the kit. After using it she said her skin felt noticeably softer and smoother. She also said that you don’t have to use very much product to cover your whole face and it cleans really well.  Her skin feels very soft after cleaning and doesn’t dry it out. Her only suggestion for improvement was to make the print on each bottle larger so that she could read it without putting on her reading glasses although she also has that complaint about every beauty product! That is the perspective of my Mother who is a lot older than I am 🙂

From my perspective (being in my late 20’s) I am looking for a product that will keep my skin looking youthful and healthy. After using the products for 4 weeks I can say that they definitely make my skin feel silky soft and smooth. These are pictures of my skin after using Meaningful Beauty for the past 4 weeks. As you can see it is smooth and there are fewer fine lines than I had 4 weeks ago. My overall impression of the products is that they are high quality products that work well and don’t irritate my skin. You get a clean, moisturized face without any irritation or reaction to the products. I found it interesting that in an independent study 100% of users of the products experienced no irritation. That’s fairly uncommon these days!

The cleanser is great. You may be slightly surprised when first using it because it doesn’t foam or suds up. Despite that it really cleans your face well and doesn’t dry it out at all. I’ve been using it every day and I love how nice it makes my skin feel. It sweeps away the makeup and dirt on your face without stripping it of the essential oils leaving you with a great feeling instead of a tight, dry feeling that I’ve experienced after using other brands.

I also really enjoyed the antioxidant day creme. It is designed to clarify, brighten and even skin tone. As you can see from the photo above I have a nice even skin tone and my skin doesn’t look blotchy or red at all. I love the way it does that!

When I thought of using a 5 step skin care regimen I wondered how well it would fit into my everyday beauty routine. With 3 young kids running around I don’t always have a whole lot of “mama” time to take care of myself. I found the routine quick and easy to do everyday. I used the cleanser in the shower to wash my face in the morning and followed it with the day creme, lifting eye creme and firming neck creme before applying my makeup. I was replacing my old cleanser and moisturizer with these products and found that it didn’t take much more time to use these products than it did to do my old routine. It also came with instructions so you knew which products to use and when. I found the instructions to be informative and useful. At night you can use the cleanser again and follow with the night creme.

Overall I really like the Meaningful Beauty products and I’m impressed with my results. They say you will see results in as little as 4 weeks and even more noticeable results after 2 months. I’m interested to see if my skin improves even more after continued use. They say this kit will last you 30 days but I’m happy to say that after 4 weeks of use I still have plenty of product left. They don’t skimp on it and you really don’t need to use a lot to get results. I’m really satisfied with the quantity of product they provide.
