With my first baby I had a very difficult vaginal delivery so my doctor and I decided it would be best to have a c-section with Aiden. I was very glad that I did and I had a much easier and faster recovery. Since I knew I was having a c-section ahead of time I researched some products to see what I could find to make my recovery a little easier. I stumbled upon csectionrecoverykit.com and I’m sure glad I did!

I was sent the AbdoMend Deluxe C-Section Recovery Kit. I used the binder as instructed right after my surgery before my first time out of bed. I have to tell you it made getting up for the first time so much better than I thought it would be. It held everything tightly in place so I didn’t feel like my insides were going to fall out when I got up. I loved the support it gave and how well it held everything in without being uncomfortable to wear. The nurses and my doctor were very supportive of my wearing it and thought it was a great idea. I’m so glad that I had it right away at the hospital. It made a world of difference in my recovery.
It was really easy to put on and the nurses even helped me the first few times. When laying in bed you simply put your feet on the bed and lift up your belly to slide it under you. I was able to do this no problem before my first time up which was the same day as my c-section.

With our C Section Recovery Kit you will:

Move with Confidence
Have Less Stress & Pain
Create a Smaller Scar
Avoid Post Surgery Complications
Speed Up Your Recovery
Support Your Back
Support Your internal organs
Tighten Your Tummy
Encouraging Muscle Memory

Worn during pregnancy the Bikini Belt offers comfortable support to both lower back and tummy. The Cotton Bikini Belt can be worn immediately after cesarean delivery. Two to three weeks after vaginal or cesarean delivery the remove text Hem It In Binder can be worn to further accelerate your healing and reduce pain. Use the skin brush as part of the Hemming Scar Therapy program and avoid ingrown hairs in your healing incision, adhesions and a problematic scar.

It comes with a book on how to massage yourself to help the healing process and reduce painful scarring. I am a huge fan of the c-section recovery kit and would recommend it to everyone having a c-section. You can also wear it during pregnancy and after a vaginal birth. You can learn more about it on their site as well as read additional reviews.

I had one 13 years ago and it was pretty tough, especially when needing to take care of other kiddo's too! I have a niece who had a hard time with hers a few weeks ago…and had to go back to work already. I wish I could get this for her. Looks like a GREAT benefit for those who have to have C sections.
    THANKS for this head's up!

I'm expecting my second and final child. I've read several articles on AbdoMend. I have a repeat c-sec scheduled for the end of this month. Is there a current coupon code available so I can order one to take to the hospital?

    SEH-

I don't have a coupon code but if I had to recommend just one product I'd definitely get the Bikini Belt: http://images.ultracart.com/aff/C1EFDE6A8BD7D70129239D0C1F051500/index.html

It is the product out of all of them I used the most and was most grateful for. I used it from the first trip out of bed and for a long time after at home. Good luck with your c-section! I wish you a speedy recovery and definitely recommend having this product before having your c-section so you are ready!

Thank you for this…I am staring down my second c-section this fall when I have my twins. I am sure this will come in handy when I won't have nearly the recovery time I had with just one newborn! I was pretty lucky and healed quickly- thankfully- but I don't want to take any chances this time. I will be looking into it for sure. Thanks!

this looks WONDERFUL. I know at least 2 women who will definitely be having their babies via C-Section. I may try to get some of these for them. Thanks so much! Having never experienced one myself, it's hard to know what products are helpful.

Wow, this is awesome. I know my friend who really wanted to have a natural birth was a bit traumatized by the c-section (mostly not expecting it at ALL) and a lovely gift like this would be so appreciated. And for all the mums who are planning to have one, then it's a lovely gift before hand!

This is good to know about, I had an emergency c-section with my daughter because my pelvis is too narrow, and the doctor said I would have to have a c section with any more babies. Since my husband and I are now trying for number 2, I will have to keep this in mind!

I had c-sections with both of my boys and something like this might have been great to have! My first c-section was a tough recovery, but my 2nd was great!

Wow thank you for this review! There's a good possibility I will have to have a c-section and I'm a first time mom so I don't know exactly where to start when it comes to recovery kits! My older brother was born 10lb 3 oz and I was 9lb 9oz (I was taken three weeks early) so it definitely is looking that way for me.

Even though I didn’t know I was having a c-section until an hour before it happened, I wish that I had known that so many mommas have actually recommend these! If I ever have to have another c-section (I want two more kiddos, so it’s definitely a possibility) I’ll be sending someone out to get me one!

Wish I would have seen this about 21 months ago! I ended up with an emergency C-Section and then my daughter was sent to the NICU in another city so it was a rough recovery! Didn’t even know they had something like this!

I had a keloid scar pretty badly from the time of my c section. I have been using the Dr max Powers Scar Serum twice a day on the scar, and 18 weeks later the scar is very small and the right side is starting to fade.
