Ingredients
1tbspolive oil
1green peppersliced
1medium onionsliced
114 oz package Klement Sausage Company Italian Sausage, sliced in 1/4" slices
2cupsheavy cream
1tbspcajun seasoning
1/4tspblack pepper
1/2cupgrated Parmesan cheese
8ozcavatappi pastacooked and drained
Instructions
Begin by heating the olive oil over medium heat and adding the onions and green peppers to a saute pan. Cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
Next, add the sliced Italian sausage to the pan and turn the heat up to medium-high. Continue to cook until sausages begin to brown, about 5 minutes.
Next, add 2 cups of heavy cream to the pan along with the black pepper and cajun seasoning. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
Once mixture has thickened, remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
Add your cooked pasta to the pan and stir together to mix well.
