Realistic Sand
1package golden oreos
2chocolate oreo cookies
Instructions
Make the seashells first by melting the white candy melts in the chocolate melter and then pouring them into the seashell candy mold. Place in the fridge while you continue making the cookies.
Next, make the realistic beach sand by placing a package of golden oreos in the food processor with 2 chocolate oreos. Pulse until texture resembles sand. Reserve for your display platter.
Once seashells are hard, remove from fridge and pop out onto a plate.
Next, melt the blue candy melts in your melting pot and then dip each chocolate oreo cookie in the blue candy melts and tap off excess candy melt. Place on a piece of parchment paper. Then immediately press a seashell into the blue candy melt covered oreo before it hardens. This will hold the seashell in place. Continue dipping and placing seashells onto the seashell cookies until all oreos have been covered. Allow to harden at room temperature (or in the fridge if you wish to speed it up). Then peel away from parchment paper and place on a platter on top of the cookie sand you made.
