I visited Chicago this week during my trip to Kolcraft Headquarters. I had an amazing time and they sure took care of us. They put us up at the gorgeous Drake Hotel. It was breathtaking. Check out the lobby! I can’t imagine how much the flower arrangement alone costs!
On my way out my sunglasses got broken in my luggage so I was in need of a new pair. Jennifer from Mom Spotted and I decided to go to Walgreens since it was just down from our hotel (and the only thing that was still open at that hour!). I found some displays but ultimately didn’t find a pair that I loved and that fit well.
One thing I did want to check out while we were there was the Prescription Savings Plan. With Aiden and David on regular, daily medications, I had heard that it could save us big bucks. We have insurance but it doesn’t always cover the prescriptions that we need. If you are uninsured, your insurance doesn’t cover all of your medications, or your insurance co-pays are too high, Walgreens Prescription Savings Club offers discounted prescription pricing for you and members of your family. The pharmacy was impressive and I really liked the welcoming feel of it.

He was very thorough and explained the program well. He said I could sign up right there or even do it online. I opted to do it online since the store was bustling with people. Being a blogger I am generally an “online” type of girl anyway 
The most useful thing I learned about the program was that it works on all sorts of medications to save you money and even saves you money throughout the store!
Your membership includes:

You will receive two Walgreens Cards, linked to the account, which can be used to shop, earn and redeem bonuses on Walgreens and Nice! brand products and photofinishing services.
I love that the coverage extends to my entire family, I don’t have to carry my card in order to save money on my medications and it even gives me discounts on Nice! brand and Walgreens brand products. For $35 you are sure to save money. And if you don’t they’ll refund you the difference! That’s a pretty amazing guarantee. You really don’t have anything to lose.
I ended up buying some gifts for Danika and Aiden on my way out of the store. Aiden flipped for the cars. He has been sleeping with them every night since I gave them to him. They are pretty cool. The doors open and you can pull them back and release them and they’ll go forward on their own.
After leaving the store I went home and signed up online. The pharmacist had given me all the info I had inquired about as to the program guidelines and all I had left to do was sign up. He assured me it was easy and I was hoping he was right. Sure enough it wasn’t hard at all! I was able to add my husband and our three children to my account and even added our dog Max!
Then you just add it to your cart and checkout. Once you pay they send your card in the mail. It was really quick and easy and definitely painless
