Make Bath Time Easier For You AND Your Baby or Toddler! {Rinse Ace Baby/Toddler Rinser Review}

One thing that I battle with Aiden over is washing up after bath time. He loves his baths but HATES getting washed up. He really isn’t my “water kid”. He isn’t too crazy about water in any form. Sprinkler, pool, tub, it doesn’t matter. He isn’t too fond of it. So when I am washing him up and pouring buckets of water over his head he freaks out. Water in his eyes? Major catastrophe. I needed a better solution to the nightly battles over washing his hair so I reached out to one of my favorite companies when it comes to bath time, Rinse Ace. They are the maker of my favorite Tahoe Showerhead which makes it quick and easy to clean the tub! They recommended their new Baby/Toddler rinser for Aiden which makes it quick and easy to rinse his hair in the tub.

One of the things I love about the Deluxe Baby & Toddler Rinser versus the hose attachment that comes with the Tahoe Showerhead (which I use to clean the tub) is that the flow rate is adjustable. I can choose how hard I want it to spray and select the type of spray as well.

I have the Tahoe Showerhead in my master bathroom and the Deluxe Baby & Toddler Rinser will fit in that adapter perfectly however in the kids’ bathroom we have a regular showerhead. Rather than have to buy an additional new showerhead with the Rinse Ace center adapter to plug the hose into, we used the included shower adapter to convert our showerhead into one that the Baby & Toddler Rinser would work with. You can see the adapter here where the white hose is plugged into (above the showerhead). It was really quick and easy to install. It also works with the My Own Shower which you can see in the pic as the yellow hose. This is perfect if you have kids of multiple ages and stages like I do or to use as they grow.

I’ve been using the Baby & Toddler Rinser on Carson (my 10 month old) and Aiden (who is 2 years old) for a couple of months now. We have finally gotten Aiden over the tears involved with washing his hair. Since we aren’t using a cup to rinse the soap out it isn’t as unpredictable where the water will end up. With the Baby & Toddler Rinser I can control the flow and dial it down for him. I am able to rinse out the soap while he looks up at the ceiling and doesn’t get any soap or water in his eyes. It works fantastic! I am seriously lost without it now since it’s worked so well with Aiden and helping him get over his fear of having water dumped on his head.

Carson loves the water. He will stick his head in it no problem (and no fear!) and allow me to rinse him with whatever I want. Being able to use the Baby & Toddler Rinser works really well on him because he is squirmy and I can use one hand to rinse him and one hand to hold him. Since the toggle on it is adjustable and keeps the water flowing without me having to hold down a button it works a lot better to rinse him with. He also likes to hold it himself and spray everyone and everything in it’s path :)

The Rinse Ace Baby & Toddler Rinser has worked extremely well for us. I would say it is best for 4 and under. At around age 4 and up the My Own Shower is your best bet. It works great for bath time though because you don’t have to start up the shower, instead you can just rinse them off and get them out of the tub. I use both the Baby & Toddler Rinser and the My Own Shower on Danika who is 4 years old, depending on if she is taking a bath or a shower.

You can visit Rinse Ace to view their entire lineup of products. I can honestly say that I’m lost without them! After moving from our old house into our new one I was missing my Rinse Ace showerheads and have had new ones installed! They cut your cleaning time in half and make washing up the kids quick and easy. I highly recommend them :)
