I am always on the lookout for cloth diaper detergent that is affordable and works great. I’ve tried many different brands over the years and I honestly have only really stuck with one brand out of all of them. Little Love Buns is a company that makes the best smelling cloth diaper detergent! They have a bunch of scents to choose from and they are the best scents I’ve smelled in cloth diaper detergent. I love them!
Not only does the detergent smell amazing (yes you will find yourself taking a big whiff of the bag every time you do laundry) but it is also gentle on sensitive skin. The Mother of three behind the products developed them as a solution for her daughter’s sensitive skin and eczema. She is passionate about her products and it shines through when talking with her. She is the type of person that I want behind the products my family uses. When someone is so passionate about their products and develops them for their own family then you know they are delivering the most quality product you can get. I’ve been so impressed with her products.
I received the large bag of detergent (in an amazing cherry almond scent) which does 85/170 loads (top loader/HE). I have an HE laundry machine so that means that at $11 for a large bag I am paying just 6 cents per load! That’s incredible. Compare that to the other big brands out there (which usually are not cloth diaper safe as well) and you are saving a ton of money on your laundry detergent. I use this detergent for everything, not just cloth diapers. It works amazingly well on our clothes too!
Little Love Buns also makes wipe bits which are also available in their amazing scent choices. If you are a cloth wipe user then these are perfect for using with your wipes. Just dissolve them with water and pour over your wipes. They work great in a wipes warmer. They melt fast and smell amazing. I also like to keep a wipes warmer near the kitchen for quick clean up of messy hands and faces.
If you don’t use cloth wipes they are perfect for a number of other things like adding them to your bath (mmmmmm), use them for a much needed foot soak or even as soap on the go. They are made with goats milk soap and are also available in shea butter.
I was also sent Little Love Buns Pail Powder to try out. If you have a stinky diaper pail (who doesn’t?) then you NEED this! Just sprinkle it on your diapers in the pail to keep the smell at bay. You can also use this to freshen up your garbage can or carpets. Just sprinkle it on and vacuum it up. Smells awesome! It’s just $5 for an 8 oz bottle which is great.
