Toddler Tuesday! St. Patrick’s Day Crafts!

Welcome to Toddler Tuesday! This is where you can link up all of your toddler related activities, ideas, memories and more. We want to see what you are doing with your toddlers and get some great ideas! You can grab the Toddler Tuesday button on my sidebar!

Today we will be doing St. Patrick’s Day crafts! It’s so fun to do holiday related crafts with your kids. Here are a couple fun ideas for St. Patrick’s Day. One that I didn’t include is making green play dough! Also a very fun idea :)

Decorate your house with festive St. Patrick’s Day hats. You’ll need:
Green construction paper
Black construction paper
Yellow construction paper
white and yellow streamers (crepe paper)
glue stick
scissors
First cut out the green paper in the shape of a big leprechaun hat. Then cut your black paper in a strip for the hat and cut the yellow in the shape of a shamrock (using a cookie cutter for this helps!). Have your child glue the black strip and the shamrock onto the hat. Next let them count out six streamers and glue them to the back of the hat. Hang up and enjoy!
My kids loved playing with these shamrock shakers! You’ll need (for each shaker):
2 paper plates
green construction paper
dried beans
glue stick
stapler
scissors

First cut out the green paper in the shape of a shamrock. Let your child glue it on to one paper plate. Glue to the side that would normally be the bottom of the plate. Next let your child hold the plates together while you staple them together. Be sure to leave a hole to add the beans! Next, let your child add a handful of dried beans and then finish stapling it shut.

Now you’ve got a shamrock shaker! Make one for each child and then sing a version of “The Hokey Pokey” but instead say “Put your shamrock in, put your shamrock out…Do the leprechaun dance…” Have fun!

Now it is your turn to link up! If you don’t have a blog then leave it in the comments. Tell us all about your toddler activities!
