Sprout Change Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway!

Sprout Change is a unique diaper on the market that allows you to reverse it and change the color that is showing. They fit from 5-40 pounds and have an easy size adjustment system.

You unsnap the hidden pocket opening on the tab to access the elastic for the back waistband and the legs. You can then adjust it to a custom fit for your baby. I like that you don’t have the bulk of rise snaps that are common on many one size diapers. After I adjusted it to fit Aiden we gave it a test run and had no leaking problems at all. One thing I did notice though was that there isn’t elastic in the front (by the belly) and I worry that little boys would be prone to leaking out the top.

The diapers are side snapping and completely reversible. One side of Aiden’s diaper (the side showing) is red and when reversed the diaper is blue! It is a neat idea allowing you to have two different colored diapers in one! The shell works much like a cover and you lay the insert in the diaper and fasten it on. When it comes time to change your baby’s diaper you simply toss the booster insert in the diaper pail and put in a fresh booster. If the shell is wet let it air dry and rotate shells. The way this system works you need fewer shells than booster inserts so you save money! They offer both StayDry and Organic Booster Packs for your Sprout Change System.

Why we love it: The Sprout Change diaper system comes in a variety of fun colors and each shell is reversible giving you two colors in one. Since the shells are used more than once and you only need to change the booster insert you save money on your overall cost. They are one size which also saves you money.

Suggestions for improvement: I would love to see a little elastic in the tummy area for the boys. At $30.75 for 1 shell and 3 super saver inserts it seems a bit expensive, but you do need to take into account that it will give you 3 diaper changes.
