Dora the Explorer Talking Digital Camera Review & Giveaway!

I take lots of pictures everyday and that means that my 2 year old that copies everything loves to take pictures too. She is always going around snapping pictures with her pretend camera. I was thrilled to find that her favorite cartoon character, Dora the Explorer, has a talking digital camera that really works! She loves going around taking real pictures now and looking at them on the computer.

There is a display on the back that shows you the number of pictures you have but I do wish there was a display to show the picture you just took. You can unload your pictures on the computer though and look at them. You can also use the camera as a Webcam on Windows and Macintosh computers!

The camera has 3 Voice hints that are alternately heard before taking photos: “We did it, yeah!”, “Fantastica” and “…giggle…”. These are great for cluing in the child that they are taking photos.

The camera takes 2 AAA batteries which are not included so be sure to pick some up along with the camera. Danika really loves her camera and it is fun for her to take photos just like mommy.

Pros: Affordable, takes real pictures, great for kids

Cons: The quality isn’t fantastic but for the price I don’t expect it to be 5 star quality.
