Omaha Steaks has been around for a long time. They are a family owned company which I love. I can remember being a kid and the Omaha Steaks package would arrive on our doorstep and I thought the dry ice was the coolest thing ever. They have amazing food and I was excited to hear about a great contest they have going on right now in honor of Father’s Day.

This Father’s Day, Omaha Steaks is hosting “Why Dad is My Hero” Ultimate Outdoor Cookout Contest on Facebook from May 24th through June 10th. They are inviting fans to nominate a dad who they admire and who has made a difference in their life or in the lives of others. They are asking them to submit a short narrative (100 words or less) describing why he is their hero, along with a photo to illustrate their explanation.

The Grand Prize for their “Why Dad is My Hero” Ultimate Outdoor Cookout Contest is a complete Omaha Steaks outdoor cookout for six prepared and served by Omaha Steaks Executive Chef, Karl Marsh. A gas grill, Flip Camera and assorted outdoor grilling tabletop accessories also are included in the grand prize winnings.

With Father’s Day just around the corner it can be hard to come up with a great gift idea for Dad. Omaha Steaks has a great assortment of steaks, burgers and more that are sure to make a great gift for Dad. You can get him a gift card too so he can pick out what he likes. We tried out their Burgers and they were delicious. I loved that they were packaged individually so you can take out exactly the number of burgers that you need without having to thaw more than you need. They were perfectly formed and juicy!

We also tried out their Hot Dogs which were great. They cooked up really nice and are perfect for a backyard BBQ!

I absolutely love Omaha Steaks and they will make the perfect gift for Dad this Father’s Day! You can buy all of their products as well as their gift cards on their site.
